Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Woman Police Constable (Women Police Battalion) in Kerala Police. Category No: 550/2025. Vacancies: Anticipated Vacancies. Scale of Pay: ₹ 31,100 - 66,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Statewide). Applications must be submitted online on or before 14-01-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-26. Candidates born between 02.01.1999 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post. Maximum age limit shall be relaxed upto 29 years for candidates belonging to other backward communities and 31 years for SC/ST candidates. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Higher Secondary (Plus Two) Examination or its equivalent. • In the case of SC and ST candidates who have failed in the Higher Secondary (Plus Two) examination shall also be considered if sufficient number of qualified candidates not available to fill up the Quota reserved for SC and ST. Physical Standards: Height: A minimum of 157 cm (150 cm for SC/ST candidates). Eye sight: Must be certified to possess visual standards without glasses (Distant Vision: Right Eye 6/6 Snellen, Left Eye 6/6 Snellen; Near Vision: Right Eye 0.5 Snellen, Left Eye 0.5 Snellen). Full field of vision, free from colour blindness, squint, morbid conditions, knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, deformed limbs, irregular/protruding tooth, and defective speech/hearing. Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in any 5 (five) events out of 8 events of National Physical Efficiency (One Star Standard Test). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable. Government Orders regarding equivalent qualifications/higher qualifications shall be produced as and when called for by the Commission.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must acquaint themselves with the General Conditions given in Part II of the Gazette Notification. Applications not submitted in accordance with terms and conditions are liable to be rejected. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure for bogus claims.
