Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Police Constable Driver / Woman Police Constable Driver in Kerala Police. Category No: 544/2024. Vacancies: SCCC – 1. Scale of Pay: ₹ 31,100 - 66,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Statewide) - From candidates belonging to SCCC community only. Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-01-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-31. Candidates born between 02.01.1993 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post. Age relaxations applicable for SCCC candidates (up to 33 years, born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.2004) and Ex-servicemen (up to 41 years). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Higher Secondary Education Examination (Plus Two) or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • Must Possess current valid Driving Licence for Motor Cycle with Gear, Light Motor Vehicles, Heavy Passenger Vehicles and Heavy Goods Vehicles with Driver's Badge. • Proficiency in driving Light Motor Vehicles/Heavy Passenger Vehicles/Heavy Goods Vehicles, which is to be proved in a practical test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection. Physical Standards: Height: Not less than 168 cm for male and 157 cm for female candidates. Chest: Not less than 81 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm (for male candidates only). Sound health, free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, defective speech and hearing. Visual standards without glasses: Distant Vision (6/6 Snellen for both right and eye), Near Vision (0.5 Snellen for both eyes). Full field of vision in each eye. Color blindness, night blindness, squint or any morbid condition of eyes/lids is a disqualification. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
Rules 14 to 17 of Part II of KS&SSR regarding reservation of appointment are applicable. Every person appointed shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Selected candidates must undergo pre-service training and execute a security bond to serve the State Government.
