Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Police Constable Driver / Woman Police Constable Driver in Kerala Police. Category No: 064/2026. Vacancies: Scheduled Caste Converted to Christianity (SCCC) - 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹31,100 - 66,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Statewide) – From candidates belonging to SCCC community only. Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-08-2026 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-35. Candidates born between 02.01.1991 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post. Members who have converted to Christianity from SC after attaining 18 years and children of such parents are eligible for age relaxation upto 37 years i.e., candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2006. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Higher Secondary Education Examination (Plus Two) or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • Must Possess current valid Driving Licence for Motor Cycle with Gear, Light Motor Vehicles, Heavy Passenger Vehicles and Heavy Goods Vehicles with Driver's Badge. • Proficiency in driving Light Motor Vehicles/Heavy Passenger Vehicles/Heavy Goods Vehicles, which is to be proved in a practical test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection. Physical Standards: All candidates must be physically fit and possess minimum physical standards: Height - not less than 168 cm for male and 157 cm for female candidates. Chest - not less than 81 cm with a minimum expansion of 5 cm (for male candidates only). Eye sight without glasses: Distant Vision (Right eye 6/6 Snellen, Left eye 6/6 Snellen), Near Vision (Right eye 0.5 Snellen, Left eye 0.5 Snellen), Full field of vision, free from color blindness, night blindness, squint, etc. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
The rules relating to reservation of appointment contained in rules 14 to 17 of Part II of the KS&SSR, 1958 shall be applicable. Every person appointed shall be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Selected candidates must execute a security bond to serve the State Government.
