Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Agricultural Assistant Grade - II in Agriculture Development and Farmers Welfare. Category No: 529/2023. Vacancies: Not Estimated. Scale of Pay: ₹ 27,900 - 63,700/-. Method of Appointment: By Transfer from among the Last Grade Servants of the Agriculture Department. Applications must be submitted online on or before 17-01-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Agricultural Science given by the Kerala Agricultural University, OR • SSLC with Agricultural Science as an optional subject, OR • SSLC with approved training in Agriculture, OR • SSLC and KGTE in Agriculture Technical Qualifications: • Certificate course in Agriculture from Rural Institute, Gandhigram or any other Rural Institute recognized by the Central Government with not less than 2 years course in Agricultural Science, OR • Certificate in Agricultural Science issued by the National Council for Rural Education, Government of India, OR • KGTE or MGTE Certificate in Agriculture, OR • Training for not less than one year in Agriculture obtained from an Agricultural School or Agricultural Basic School. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Good physique. Candidates (excluding those exempted) must pass an Endurance Test consisting of: i. 1600 meters run - Maximum time 10 minutes. ii. Digging 0.4 Are of land - Maximum time 1 hour. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency/higher qualifications specified through executive or standing orders and recognized by government/UGC are accepted.

As per Part II of KS&SSR, probation period applies. Candidates selected by transfer must execute a bond and undergo pre-service training as specified in the notification.
