Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Ability to read and write in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Must possess a current Motor Driving License for Heavy Duty Vehicles (HDV) and Motor Cycles • Must have 3 years experience in driving Heavy Duty Vehicles (Military or Civil) • License must have endorsement for Heavy Goods and Heavy Passenger vehicles if obtained after 16.01.1979 Experience Required: 3 years experience in driving Heavy Duty Vehicles (Military or Civil) Physical Standards: Hearing: Perfect hearing. Vision: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes. Color vision: Normal. Night blindness: Should not have. Muscles and Joints: No paralysis, all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous system: Normal and free from infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce Government Order proving equivalency at the time of OTR verification.
