Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Forest Driver in Forest & Wild Life. Category No: 525/2024. Vacancies: Anticipated vacancies in Kollam, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Kozhikkode, Wayanad. Scale of Pay: ₹ 26,500 – 60,700/-. Method of Appointment: Recruitment by Transfer (District wise). Applications must be submitted online on or before 29-01-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• SSLC or its equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala.
Technical Qualifications:
• All candidates must have a valid motor driving licence endorsed for all types of transport vehicles (LMV, HGMV & HPMV).
Experience Required:
Experience of not less than 3 years in driving motor vehicles.
Physical Standards:
Height: Must not be less than 168 cms (160 cm for SC/ST candidates). Chest: Minimum 81 cms round the chest and expansion of 5 cms. Vision: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen, Colour Vision Normal, Night Blindness Nil. Must be free from apparent physical defects like Knock-knee, Flat Foot, Varicose vein, Bow legs, Deformed limbs, Defective speech and hearing.
Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
