Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Forest Driver in Forest & Wildlife. Category No: 425/2025. Vacancies: District wise (Malappuram - Anticipated vacancy). Scale of Pay: ₹ 26,500 – 60,700/-. Method of Appointment: Recruitment by Transfer (District wise) from among the eligible members of Depot Watchers, Reserve Watchers and Other Last Grade Servants in the Kerala Forest & Wild Life Department, who have been declared to be an approved probationer.. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • SSLC or its equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • All candidates must have a valid Motor Driving License endorsed for all types of transport vehicles (LMV, HGMV & HPMV) and experience for not less than 3 years in driving motor vehicles. Experience Required: Experience for not less than 3 years in driving motor vehicles, acquired after obtaining academic or other basic qualifications. Physical Standards: Height: Must not be less than 168 cms (160 cms for SC/ST candidates). Chest: Minimum of 81 cms with a minimum expansion of 5 cms (no chest expansion relaxation for SC/ST). Must qualify in 5 out of 8 events in the National Physical Efficiency one star standard test. Must possess prescribed medical standards including perfect hearing, vision standards (Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen without glasses for both eyes, normal colour vision, nil night blindness), and be free from physical defects, deformities, and paralysis. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
The selection will be made on a revenue district basis subject to special conditions. Women candidates and Differently Abled candidates are not eligible. Rules of reservation (rules 14 to 17 of part II of KS&SSR 1958) will not apply. Direct recruitment quota is 90% and recruitment by transfer is 10%.
