Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Grade II (HDV) in Various. Category No: 518/2014 & 519/2014. Vacancies: Community wise (Alappuzha - 1 for SIUC Nadar, Kozhikode - 1 for Hindu Nadar). Scale of Pay: 9190 – 15780/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to above reservation community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-12-2014 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-42. Only candidates born between 2.1.1972 and 1.1.1996 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Heavy Duty Driving Licence of three years standing with endorsement for driving HP & HG Vehicles and Badge. • Proficiency in Driving Medium/Heavy goods/passenger Motor Vehicles which is to be proved by a practical test including H test and Road test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left Eye), Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (Right & Left Eye), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil, Muscles and joints: No paralysis, all joints with free movement, Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Each eye must have full field of vision. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.

General conditions from the notification

Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Selection will be made on a Revenue District basis. Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible to apply. Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
