Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Grade II (HDV) in Various. Category No: 515/2014. Vacancies: Community wise (ST: Kottayam - 1, Palakkad - 1). Scale of Pay: 9190 – 15780/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to ST community only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 31-12-2014 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-44. Only candidates born between 02-01-1970 and 01-01-1996 (both dates included) are eligible. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Heavy Duty Driving Licence of three years standing with endorsement for driving Medium HP & HG Vehicles and Badge. • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.79 must have endorsement both for heavy goods and heavy passenger vehicles. • Proficiency in Driving Medium/Heavy goods/passenger Motor Vehicles to be proved by a practical test including H test and Road test. Experience Required: Three years standing in Heavy Duty Driving Licence Physical Standards: Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (both eyes), Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (both eyes), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil, Muscles and joints: No paralysis, all joints with free movement, Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Each eye must have full field of vision. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.

General conditions from the notification

Selection on Revenue District basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Probation period is 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible.
