Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher Physics in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 507/2024. Vacancies: 02 (Two). Age limit

Age 20-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2004 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Relaxation in upper age limit up to 43 (Forty Three) years as on the 1st day of January 2024 shall be allowed to the qualified Ministerial Staff under Higher Secondary Education Department for direct recruitment to the category of Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by a University in Kerala. • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree as specified in items (i) and (ii) above, persons with B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. • OR M.Sc.Ed in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Regional Institute of Education sponsored by the National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT) Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce equivalency certificate / the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of certificate verification.
General conditions from the notification
The Ranked list published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and up to three years. Candidates have to submit confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile. Disciplinary action as per KPSC Rules of Procedure Rule 22 will be initiated for bogus claims.
