Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) – LPS in Education. Category No: 500/2021 – 502/2021. Vacancies: District wise (Viswakarma - Thiruvananthapuram: 1; SIUC Nadar - Trissur: 1, Kollam: 1; OBC - Trissur: 1, Kollam: 1). Scale of Pay: ₹ 18,000-41,500/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to Viswakarma, SIUC N and OBC communities only).. Applications must be submitted online on or before 01-12-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. (Including age relaxation as per para 2(i) of the general conditions). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first Language. • A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent ; and any one of the following qualifications: 1) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), 2) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), 3) A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Minimum general educational qualification for the post viz, A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II KS & SSR will be applicable to this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification.

General conditions from the notification

Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Selection will be made on a revenue district basis subject to G.O (Ms) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their OTR profile if a test is conducted.
