Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Fire and Rescue Officer (Driver)(Trainee) in Fire and Rescue Services. Category No: 491/2024. Vacancies: Scheduled Caste Converted to Christianity (SCCC) – 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 27,900-63,700/-. Age limit

18-29. Only candidates born between 02.01.1995 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible. For members belonging to Scheduled Caste who had converted to Christianity after adult age and their children, the upper age limit shall be 31 years (born between 02.01.1993 and 01.01.2006). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed Plus Two or its equivalent examination. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid current Motor Driving License with endorsement for driving heavy goods vehicle or heavy passenger vehicle with badge. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Height: 165 cms, Weight: 50 kgs, Chest: 81 cms, Chest Expansion: 5 cms. Visual Standards: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen (both eyes), Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (both eyes), Field of Vision: Full. Must be physically fit. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post are acceptable.

Candidates must follow Part II KS&SSR general conditions. Selected candidates must undergo 4 months training, pass examinations, and execute a bond to serve for 5 years. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
