Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Inspector of Legal Metrology in Legal Metrology. Category No: 485/2022. Vacancies: 2 (Two). Scale of Pay: ₹43400-91200/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 04-01-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1986 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxations apply to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Communities. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Science with Physics as one of the subjects conferred or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. • OR Degree in B.Tech conferred or recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala. • OR Diploma in Engineering after 3 years regular course with 3 years experience in a Government/ Quasi Government/ Registered Private Industrial concern in the same field after acquiring the basic qualification of Engineering Diploma. Experience in Legal Metrology Department shall be treated as equivalent to working experience. Experience Required: 3 years experience in a Government/ Quasi Government/ Registered Private Industrial concern in the same field after acquiring the basic qualification of Engineering Diploma (applicable only for diploma holders). Experience in Legal Metrology Department shall be treated as equivalent. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. Government Orders regarding higher/equivalent qualifications shall be produced when called for.
General conditions from the notification
The ranked list prepared pursuant to this notification shall cease to be in force after one year from the date on which it comes into force or after three years, whichever is earlier. Candidates must register/apply through OTR and confirm participation for exams (if applicable) through their profile. Part II KS&SSR general conditions are applicable.
