Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Police Constable (Trainee) (Armed Police Battalion) (Special Recruitment for SC/ST) in Kerala Police Service. Category No: 484/2024. Vacancies: Battalion wise: Thiruvananthapuram (SAP) – 03, Pathanamthitta (KAP III) – 05, Idukki (KAP V) - 04, Thrissur (KAP II) - 07, Malappuram (MSP) - 04. Scale of Pay: ₹ 31,100 – 66,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Battalion wise) (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes). Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-01-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-31. Only candidates born between 02.01.1993 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible. Upper age limit relaxed up to 41 years for Ex-servicemen. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in HSE (Plus Two) or its equivalent. • Note: Those who have failed in HSE (Plus 2) shall also be considered if sufficient number of qualified candidates are not available to fill up the quota. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Height: Minimum 160cm. Chest: Minimum 76cm (with minimum 5cm expansion). Eye Sight: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (without glasses). Must qualify in 5 out of 8 events of the National Physical Efficiency, One Star Standard Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

Selection is battalion-wise. Candidates prohibited from applying to more than one battalion. Separate ranked lists will be published for each battalion, valid for one year. Candidates must submit confirmation for exams. Physical measurement and efficiency test required. Medical certificate in prescribed form must be produced.
