Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Ability to read and write in Malayalam, Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: • Must possess a valid Motor Driving License for Heavy Duty Vehicles and Motor Cycles • Must have 3 years experience in driving Heavy Duty Vehicles (Military or Civil) • For licenses obtained after 16.01.1979, must have endorsement for both Heavy Goods and Heavy Passenger vehicles Experience Required: 3 years experience in driving Heavy Duty Vehicles (Military or Civil) Physical Standards: Must be physically fit. Vision standards: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes. Must have full field of vision. No colour blindness or squint. Must have perfect hearing. No physical deformities or paralysis. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be Ex-servicemen belonging to Scheduled Caste community. Probation period is 2 years of duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must be willing to perform duties of cleaner and oiling. Candidates must possess valid driving license and badge at all stages of selection.
