Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Fire and Rescue Officer (Trainee) in Fire and Rescue Services. Category No: 471/2024. Vacancies: Anticipated Vacancies. Scale of Pay: 27,900 – 63,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-01-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-26. Only candidates born between 02.01.1998 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC candidates as per rules. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus Two or its equivalent Technical Qualifications: • Preferential: Diploma in Computer Application Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: General: Height 165cm, Weight 50kg, Chest 81cm (5cm expansion). SC/ST: Height 160cm, Weight 48kg, Chest 76cm (5cm expansion). Must have proficiency in swimming (50m in 2 mins, 2 mins floating). Must possess specified visual standards (6/6 Snellen distant vision, 0.5 Snellen near vision, full field of vision). Must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the physical efficiency test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a)(ii) is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be physically fit for arduous outdoor work. Probation period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Must execute a bond to serve for 7 years. Women and Differently Abled candidates are not eligible.
