Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher (Junior) Arabic in Kerala Higher Secondary Education. Category No: 370/2016 To 375/2016. Vacancies: Ezhava - 9 (370/16), Scheduled Caste - 4 (371/16), Scheduled Tribe - 1 (372/16), LC - 4 (373/16), OBC - 2 (374/16), Viswakarma - 2 (375/16). Scale of Pay: 32300 – 68700. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From among candidates belonging to the Ezhava, Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, LC, OBC & Viswakarma). Applications must be submitted online on or before 14-12-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
• B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
Technical Qualifications:
• Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government.
Experience Required:
Not specified as mandatory, but exemptions exist for those with 10 years of approved teaching service at the High School level.
Physical Standards:
Not applicable
Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. In the absence of B.Ed degree holders, candidates with Masters Degree (50% marks) and SET will be considered, provided they acquire B.Ed within 5 years.
