Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Chauffeur Gr II in Tourism Department. Category No: 367/2021. Vacancies: District-wise: Thiruvananthapuram - 02 (Two), Ernakulam - 03 (Three), Kannur - 02 (Two), Kasaragod - 01 (One). Scale of Pay: 19,000 – 43,600/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 20-10-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed SSLC or equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess current valid Driving Licence of light duty vehicles with Driver's Badge and of at least 3 years period of validity. • Proficiency in driving Light Motor Vehicles which is to be proved through a practical test including 'H' test conducted by the KPSC. Those who pass 'H' test alone will be allowed to participate in road test. Experience Required: At least 3 years period of validity of driving licence for light duty vehicles with driver's badge. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be sound. Eye: Right Eye (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen), Left Eye (Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen). Colour vision: Normal. Night blindness: Should be nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints with free movements. Nervous system: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable. Government Order regarding equivalency of qualification should be produced at the time of certificate verification.
