Age limit

22-48. Candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note: For conversed candidates from SC to Christianity and their children, the upper age limit is 50 years (born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.2001). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • M.D/D.N.B in General Medicine. Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration with Kerala State Medical Council (TCMC) or Council of Modern Medicine. Experience Required: Three Years Senior Resident experience in General Medicine in an NMC recognized Medical College after Post Graduate Degree. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Government Orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications will have to be produced at the time of certificate verification.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates shall read Part II of the General Conditions of Gazette Notification. Compulsory Military Service: Persons appointed shall render service in the Armed Forces or Defence Services or related works in India or abroad for 4 years (including training period) within the first 10 years of service. Not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age and PwD candidates.
