Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • Group Certificate in Needle Work and Dress Making of the KGTE (Higher) or MGTE (Higher). • OR Group Certificate in Tailoring of the KGTE (Higher) or MGTE (Higher). • OR Group Diploma in Crafts issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • OR National Trade Certificate in Cutting and Tailoring issued by the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades, Government of India. • OR Diploma in Craftsmanship (Tailoring and Garment making) issued by the Director of Technical Education, Kerala. • OR Diploma in Craftsmanship in Tailoring and Embroidery, awarded by the Director of Technical Education, Government of Kerala. • OR National Trade Certificate in Dress making awarded by National Council for Training in Vocational Trades. • OR Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFT) from MG University. • OR Bsc. Fashion & Apparel Design Technology (Bsc FATD) from Kannur University. • OR B.Sc Costume & Fashion Designing from Calicut University. • OR Diploma in Fashion Designing issued by the Kerala Institute of Labour and Employment (KILE). • OR Diploma in Fashion Designing awarded by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. (Exemption: CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in respective subjects) Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification.
