Age limit

18-43. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included) are eligible. In the case of adult members of Scheduled Caste and their children converted to Christian religion, upper age limit is 45 years (born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in S.S.L.C. Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • Group Certificate in Needle Work and dress making of the KGTE (Higher) or MGTE (Higher) • Group Certificate in Tailoring of the KGTE (Higher) or MGTE (Higher) • Group Diploma in Crafts issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala • National Trade certificate in Cutting and Tailoring issued by NCVT, Govt of India • Diploma in Craftsmanship (Tailoring and Garment Making) awarded by the Director of Technical Education, Kerala • Diploma in Craftsmanship in Tailoring and Embroidery awarded by the Director of Technical Education, Kerala • National Trade Certificate in Dress making issued by NCVT • Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFT) from M.G University • B.Sc Fashion & Apparel Design Technology (B.Sc FADT) from Kannur University • B.Sc Costume & Fashion Designing from Calicut University • Diploma in Fashion Technology issued by KILE • Diploma in Fashion Designing awarded by IGNOU • State Trade Certificate in Fashion Technology issued by SCVT • Bachelor of Fashion Technology from UGC approved Universities • Bachelor of Costume Designing from UGC approved Universities • One year Diploma Course in Apparel Manufacturing Technology conducted by The Apparel Training & Design Centre under Ministry of Textiles, Govt of India Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent shall be accepted.
