Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC Examination or its equivalent • A pass in Pre-degree examination or its equivalent • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent Technical Qualifications: • A pass in TTC Examination (renamed as D.Ed/D.El.Ed) • OR A Degree in any subject and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala (Exemptions apply for CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed holders and certain departmental employees) Experience Required: 5 years service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department as on the date of application Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service. Separate Ranked Lists will be prepared for each district. Rules regarding reservation (Rules 14 to 17 in Part II of KS & SSR) are not applicable to recruitment by transfer. Confirmation for writing the examination is mandatory if a test is conducted.
