Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Cath Lab Technician Grade II in Health Services. Category No: 29/2026. Vacancies: 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹ 31,100-66,800/-. Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Plus two (Science) or its equivalent qualification. • Bachelor's degree in Cardio Vascular Technology course from an NMC recognized University or National Institute established by the Govt. of India or Institution established by the Govt. of Kerala or recognized by the National Medical Commission. • Diploma in Cardio Vascular Technology conducted by Director of Medical Education or from a Medical College/Institution recognized by the National Medical Commission/Diploma in Cath Lab Technology conducted by Sree Chithra Tirunal Institute of Medical Science. Technical Qualifications: • Registration with Kerala Para Medical Council. Experience Required: One year experience as Cath Lab Technician acquired from any Central/State Government Institutions including hospitals in the Defence Sector/Railways/ESI/Autonomous Institutions under Central/State Government. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special Rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must adhere to Part II of the General Conditions of the Gazette notification. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
