Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Sub Inspector Trainee (Telecommunications) (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribe Only) in Kerala Police Service. Category No: 268/2023. Vacancies: 02 (Two). Scale of Pay: ₹ 43,400 - 91,200 /-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment for Scheduled Tribes only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 18-10-2023 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

20-36, Only Candidates born between 02.01.1987 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. The relaxation of age limit envisaged in the sub rule (c) rule 10 of the General Rules in Part II of the KS & SSR, 1958 shall not be applicable to the post. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (Plus 2) conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or its equivalent qualification. • National Trade Certificate in Radio / Television / Electronics / Telecommunication / Electrical Engineering / Computer / Information Technology or its equivalent qualification approved by Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Two years experience in any one of the fields such as Radio / Television / Electronics / Telecommunication / Electrical Engineering / Computer / Information Technology from any authorised / reputed public / private institution. Physical Standards: Height: 160 cm. Chest: 76 cm and a minimum expansion of 5 cm. Must be certified by a Medical Officer of the Rank of District Medical Officer of the Health Services Department as to his physique and fitness and capacity for outdoor works. Vision: Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left), Near Vision 0.5 Snellen (Right & Left). Each eye must have a full field of vision. Colour blindness, Squint or any morbid condition of eyes or lids of either eye shall be a disqualification. Candidates shall be free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing etc. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
