Who can apply
Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Beat Forest Officer in Forest and Wildlife. Category No: 250/2025 – 257/2025. Vacancies: District wise (NCA Notification for SC, Viswakarma, Muslim, LC/AI, E/T/B, OBC, Hindu Nadar, ST communities). Scale of Pay: ₹ 27,900-63,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to specified reservation communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 03-09-2025 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or Equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala.
Experience Required:
None
Physical Standards:
Male - Height: Min 168 cms (160 cm for SC/ST), Chest: Min 81 cms with 5 cm expansion (5 cm expansion mandatory for SC/ST). Female - Height: Min 157 cms (150 cm for SC/ST). Must qualify in Physical Efficiency Test (5 out of 8 events for males, 5 out of 9 events for females) and Endurance Test (2 km run in 13 mins for males, 15 mins for females). Medical standards including vision without glasses (Distant Vision 6/6 Snellen for both eyes, Near Vision 0.5 Snellen, Normal colour vision, Nil night blindness) are required.
Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.
