Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. • A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination. • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by Government as equivalent thereto. Technical Qualifications: • A pass in TTC (Tamil) Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • A Degree in any subject and B.Ed/B.T/L.T (Tamil) conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: 5 years service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant/Full Time Menial in the General Education Department as on the date of application. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. D.Ed/D.El.Ed is considered equivalent to TTC. Degrees/Diplomas awarded by UGC approved Universities or Institutions established through an act passed by Parliament/State Legislative Assembly are acceptable.

Candidates must be an approved probationer/full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service. Reservation rules (Rules 14 to 17 in Part II of KS & SSR) are not applicable to recruitment by transfer. Candidates must submit confirmation for written/OMR/online tests.
