Age limit

19-33. Candidates born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2004 are eligible. For SC/ST: 19-35 (born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2004). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or Equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Male Candidates: Height-Minimum 168 cms (160 cms for SC/ST), Chest-Minimum 81 cms with 5 cms expansion (5 cms expansion applicable for SC/ST). Must qualify 5 out of 8 events in National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test and 2 km run endurance test in 13 minutes. Female Candidates: Height-Minimum 157 cms (150 cms for SC/ST). Must qualify 5 out of 9 events in National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard test and 2 km run endurance test in 15 minutes. Medical Standards: Perfect hearing, distant vision 6/6 Snellen for both eyes, near vision 0.5 Snellen, normal colour vision, nil night blindness, muscles and joints free from paralysis with free movements, nervous system normal, free from physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, defective speech and hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Government Orders regarding equivalent/higher qualifications shall be produced when called for.
