Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • M.Sc Degree in Geophysics with not less than 50% marks. • In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, Masters Degree in any branch of Physics with not less than 50% marks Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, and higher qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed, shall be sufficient.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be on probation for a total period of two years duty within a continuous period of three years. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination if a written/OMR/Online test is conducted. General conditions as per Part II of the Gazette notification apply.
