Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Mechanical, Agricultural or Mining Engineering Technical Qualifications: • A Certificate in Water well or rock drilling sponsored by the Indian School of Mining Dhanbad or the Institute of Technology Kharagpur Experience Required: Five years experience in drilling and familiarity with operational characteristics of different types of drilling rigs (Direct Rotary reverse circulation or down the hole hammer) in State/ Organisation(s) Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to the qualification specified for the post, and higher qualifications that pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed, are sufficient.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must adhere to Part II of the General Conditions in the Gazette notification. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Must pass Account Test (Lower) of Executive Officers during probation.
