Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Women Civil Excise Officer in Excise. Category No: 181/2022. Vacancies: Thiruvananthapuram - 01 (One) (Muslim community only). Scale of Pay: 20,000 – 45,800/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From Muslim women candidates only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 22-06-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-34; Candidates must be born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation applies for other backward communities as per rules. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed Plus Two examination or its equivalent. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Minimum height of 152 cm. Must pass an endurance test of 2.5 km run within 15 minutes. Must pass 5 out of 8 items in the National Physical Efficiency Test. Must possess required vision standards (Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen for both eyes without glasses). Must be free from physical deformities like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed limbs, protruding teeth, defective hearing/speech, etc. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order at the time of certificate verification.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must be Muslim women. Selection is district-wise. Candidates must undergo 3 years of service with 2 years of probation and must complete at least 6 months (180 working days) of basic training. NCC 'A', 'B', 'C' certificate holders get weightage marks. Candidates must submit a medical certificate in the prescribed format during the physical efficiency test.
