Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must be a Graduate Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Height: 160 cm (without footwear). Chest: 76 cm (with minimum 5 cm expansion). Vision: Must be certified to have the following vision without glasses: Distant Vision (Right Eye 6/6 Snellen, Left Eye 6/6 Snellen), Near Vision (Right Eye 0.5 Snellen, Left Eye 0.5 Snellen), Field of Vision (Full). Must be free from colour blindness and other eye diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. In the absence of candidates with the prescribed qualification, candidates who have passed Pre-University or Pre-Degree or equivalent examination will be considered.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must undergo one year of training. During training, they will be entitled to a stipend as fixed by the Government. Candidates must execute a bond to serve the department for at least 5 years. Probation period is two years within a continuous period of three years after training.
