Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Town Planning Officer (Planning) in Greater Cochin Development Authority. Category No: 160/2013. Vacancies: 2 (Two). Age limit

18-45; only candidates born between 02-01-1968 and 01-01-1995 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation for SC/ST and other Backward communities. Provisional hands working in the concern are eligible for age relaxation to the extent of their provisional service, subject to a maximum of five years from the upper age limit. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Town and Country Planning or Regional Planning/ City Planning • Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or physical planning from a recognised University Experience Required: Eight years experience in the field of Town and Country Planning or Regional Planning/ City Planning. The experience certificate should be one acquired after obtaining the academic or other basic qualifications. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Equivalent qualifications are accepted.
General conditions from the notification
The selection is subject to the rules and regulations of the concern. Sub Paras v, viii, ix, x, xi and xiii in para 2 and paras 5a, 6 and 7 of the general conditions are not applicable to this post. The list of selected candidates shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years.
