Age limit

18-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1985 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. (Including the relaxation as per Para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note: For concessions allowed in upper age limit subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this notification. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in VHSE in Livestock Management. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Each trainee will have to produce a certificate (in original) of physical fitness from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable for selection to the post. In addition to the qualification prescribed in the notification, the qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post, in the Special rules and such of those qualifications which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates recruited by the Commission shall be appointed to the service provisionally and they shall undergo the Stockman training course / Livestock Inspector training course. Candidate selected will have to execute a bond in the prescribed form to serve the Government of Kerala for a minimum period of 5 years after the regular appointment. The selection will be made on a revenue district basis subject to the special conditions laid down in GO (MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27/05/1971.
