Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree in Botany or Zoology with not less than 50% marks from a recognized University. Technical Qualifications: • M.Phil Degree in Botany or Zoology from a recognized University. • Two years research/analytical experience in Botany or Zoology from a recognized institution. Experience Required: Two years research/analytical experience in Botany or Zoology from a recognized institution (Desirable qualification). Physical Standards: Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right Eye), 6/6 Snellen (Left Eye). Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (Right Eye), 0.5 Snellen (Left Eye). Must have full field of vision. Colour blindness is a disqualification. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must undergo 6 months training. Must pass Account Test for Executive Officers or Account Test (Lower) during probation. Must execute a bond to serve the State Government for 5 years after training, failing which a penalty of Rs. 25,000 plus actual training expenses is applicable. Probation period is 2 years within a continuous period of 3 years after training.
