Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Driver Grade II (HDV) in Various. Category No: 110/2013 to 112/2013. Vacancies: Community wise: OX (Palakkad-2, Malappuram-1), Dheevara (Palakkad-2, Malappuram-1), Hindu Nadar (Ernakulam-1). Scale of Pay: Rs.9,190-15,780. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (From candidates belonging to Other Christian (OX), Dheevara, and Hindu Nadar Communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 05-06-2013 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-42. Only candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible. Upper age limit for OX community shall be 44 years for adult members of Scheduled Caste and their children when such adult members are converted to Christianity. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum Technical Qualifications: • Must possess valid Heavy Duty Driving Licence of three years standing with endorsement for driving HP & HG Vehicles and Badge Experience Required: Three years standing in Heavy Duty Driving Licence Physical Standards: Ear-Hearing should be perfect. Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right/Left), Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (Right/Left), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil, Muscles and joints: No paralysis, all joints with free movement, Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Each eye must have full field of vision. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Not specified

General conditions from the notification

Selection made on a Revenue District basis. Candidates already in Government Service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Physically Handicapped Persons are not eligible. Candidates must produce medical certificates in prescribed forms for physical fitness and vision.
