Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Women Civil Excise Officer in Excise. Category No: 092/2024. Vacancies: Scheduled Caste - Alappuzha - 2. Scale of Pay: ₹ 27,900 – 63,700/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Only from the women candidates of Scheduled Castes). Applications must be submitted online on or before 19-06-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed the Plus Two Examination or its equivalent. Physical Standards: The minimum height shall be 150 cms. Endurance Test: All candidates should successfully complete an endurance test of running 2.5 Kilometers race within 15 minutes. Physical Efficiency Test: Must qualify in any five events out of eight events specified of the National Physical Efficiency Test (One Star Standard Test). Physique and Eye sight: Must be certified by a Medical Officer not below the rank of an Assistant Surgeon/Junior consultant as to her physical fitness and capacity for active outdoor work. Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right Eye) and 6/6 Snellen (Left Eye). Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (Right Eye) and 0.5 Snellen (Left Eye). Must be free from apparent physical defects like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed hands and limbs, irregular and protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.

Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than that notified will be summarily rejected. Selection will be made on a revenue district basis. NCC Cadets having 'A', 'B' & 'C' Certificates will be given weightage marks at the rate of 2%, 3% and 5% respectively.
