Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Junior Public Health Nurse Grade II (Special Recruitment for ST only) in Health Services. Category No: 048/2024. Vacancies: District wise: Thrissur – 01 (One). Scale of Pay: ₹. 31,100 – 66,800/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (Special Recruitment from among Scheduled Tribes only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-05-2024 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-46. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1978 and 01.01.2006 (both dates included) are eligible. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • S.S.L.C Technical Qualifications: • Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (revised course of 18 months) issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council • OR Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate/Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery Certificate (revised course) issued by an authority recognised by the Indian Nursing Council • OR Health Workers Training Certificate issued by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council • Registration with Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. In the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes, general educational qualification will be relaxed and a pass in Standard VIII shall be sufficient subject to the condition that the relaxation will be allowed only in the absence of fully qualified Scheduled Tribe candidates.

Appointments are subject to the conditions laid down in G.O (P) No. 21/76/PD dated 17.01.1976 and G.O (P) No. 25/94/GAD dated 22.01.1994. Candidates must follow the instructions in Part II of the General Conditions. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of the KPSC Rules of Procedure will be initiated for bogus claims.
