Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Beat Forest Officer in Forest. Category No: 027/2022. Vacancies: Districtwise (Anticipated Vacancy). Scale of Pay: ₹ 20,000-45,800/-(PR). Method of Appointment: By Direct Recruitment (District wise). Applications must be submitted online on or before 30-03-2022 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

19-30. Candidates born between 02.01.1992 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) only are eligible to apply for this post. Other Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for age relaxations as per the conditions mentioned in para 2 (i) of the Part II of General Conditions (maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Pass in Plus Two Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Government of Kerala or equivalent examination recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Physical Standards: Male Candidates: Height- Minimum 168 cms (160 cms for SC/ST), Chest- Minimum 81 cms with 5 cms expansion (5 cm expansion applicable to SC/ST). Must qualify in 5 out of 8 events of National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard Test for men, and an Endurance Test of running 2 Kilometres in 13 minutes. Female Candidates: Height- Minimum 157 cms (150 cms for SC/ST). Must qualify in 5 out of 9 events of National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard Test for women, and an Endurance Test of running 2 Kilometres in 15 minutes. Medical Standards: Perfect hearing, distant vision 6/6 Snellen (Right/Left) without glass, near vision 0.5 Snellen without glass, normal colour vision, nil night blindness, free from paralysis, free from apparent physical defects like knock-knee, flat foot, varicose vein, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular and protruding tooth, defective speech and hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification shall produce relevant Government order at One Time Verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must register via One Time Registration. No application fee required. Candidates shall undergo training for one year in any of the forest training schools. Probation for 2 years on duty within a continuous service of 3 years.
