19-36, only candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.1994 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation for SC/ST and other backward communities applies, subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years.

Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University. Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in any of the following trades from ITI: Mechanic (Tractor), Mechanic (Motor vehicle), Mechanic (Diesel), or Fitter. • Valid Tractor Driving licence (must be current on the date of application, practical test, and interview). Experience Required: In the absence of Diploma holders, candidates with ITI NTC must have practical experience of not less than one year in the trade, acquired after the acquisition of the ITI Trade certificate. Proficiency will be assessed in a practical test.

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
