18-43. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2007 (Both dates included) are eligible. Candidates belonging to SCCC (Scheduled Caste Converted to Christianity) who converted from SC after attaining 18 years and children of such parents are eligible for age relaxation up to 45 years (born between 02.01.1980 and 01.01.2007). Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including all concessions.

Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET Category III) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
