Educational Qualifications: • Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship (2 years course with training) awarded by the Industrial Training Centres of the Government • OR National Trade Certificate in Architectural Draftsmanship with apprenticeship training awarded by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), New Delhi or equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • 1 year experience in Computer Aided Building Drafting under a Registered Architect or a Registered Civil Engineering Institution. • Proficiency in Computer Drafting in Auto CAD Level 1 and 2 or proficiency in any other architectural CAD software notified by the Government as equivalent. Experience Required: 1 year experience in Computer Aided Building Drafting under a Registered Architect or a Registered Civil Engineering Institution. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
