Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC or equivalent examination recognized by the Government of India or Government of Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess a valid Motor Driving License for all types of transport vehicles (LMV, HGMV & HPMV). • Must have at least 3 years of experience in driving motor vehicles. Experience Required: 3 years of experience in driving motor vehicles. Physical Standards: Height: Minimum 168 cm; Chest: Minimum 81 cm (with a minimum expansion of 5 cm). Must qualify in at least 5 out of 8 items in the National Physical Efficiency Test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable.

How the age check works

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.

For a 2025 post with the range 18–36 (born 02.01.1989 – 01.01.2007).

What the checker does not decide

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
