SIUC-Nadar Community & Scheduled Caste Converted to Christianity [SCCC] Community: 19-34 (Only candidates born between 02.01.1990 and 01.01.2005 are eligible). Scheduled Caste Community: 19-36 (Only candidates born between 02.01.1988 and 01.01.2005 are eligible). Upper age limit shall be 36 years for adult members of SC and their children converted to Christianity.

Educational Qualifications: • Must possess B.A, B.Sc or B.Com Degree of any recognized University or its equivalent. • In the case of Ex-Servicemen, the minimum qualification shall be SSLC. Physical Standards: Must be Physically Fit for strenuous outdoor work. Minimum physical standards for Male: Height 165 cm (160 cm for SC candidates), Chest 81 cm (normal) with 5 cm expansion. For Female: Height 152 cm (150 cm for SC candidates). Visual standards without glasses: Distant vision 6/6 snellen (Right & Left Eye), Near vision 0.5 snellen (Right & Left Eye). Full field of vision required. Free from colour blindness, squint, morbid conditions, and physical defects like knock-knee, flat feet, varicose veins, bow legs, deformed limbs, irregular/protruding teeth, defective speech and hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part-II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable.

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
