Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Veterinary Science / Dairy Science and Technology / Fisheries Science and Agricultural Engineering from a UGC recognized University or an Institution established by the Central Government or an Institution established by the Kerala Government. • OR B.Sc. (Co-operation and Banking) degree from Kerala Agricultural University. Experience Required: 2 years of experience in the relevant field after acquiring the educational qualification, in a Government / Quasi-Government / Public Sector Undertaking or a registered Private Sector Institution. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II, KS&SSR is applicable.

How the age check works

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.

With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

For a 2025 post with the range 18–36 (born 02.01.1989 – 01.01.2007).

What the checker does not decide

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
