21-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates applies. Provisional hands working in the firm are eligible for age relaxation up to a maximum of 5 years.

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Commerce obtained from a recognized University. Technical Qualifications: • Exposure to Computer operations is essential. Experience Required: Not less than 2 years in Accounts matters in a Government Department, Industrial or Commercial undertaking, Limited Company registered under the Companies Act, or Public Sector undertaking (including Co-operative societies, Small scale industrial units registered with the Industries Development Commissioner, and Industrial Institutions wherein Government have interest). Experience must be acquired after obtaining the academic qualification. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Qualifications recognized by executive orders or standing orders of Government as equivalent to the qualification specified for the post, and those which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification, shall be sufficient.

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
