Experience Required: The applicant should be a full member or an approved probationer of the Subordinate Services of NCC/Sainik Welfare Department holding low paid posts in the Scale of pay lower than Rs.26500-60700/- (including part time contingent Service). Physical Standards: Only Ex-Servicemen are eligible to apply for this post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 2(13) of Part I of KS & SSR 1958.

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
