Educational Qualifications: • B.Tech. Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent from a UGC recognized University/National Institutes established by the Central Government or Institution established by Government of Kerala. • OR Pass in Sections A & B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) in Civil/Mechanical Engineering Experience Required: Candidates should have worked in any of the lower categories included under Kerala Water Authority Technical Special Rules, 2023 or Kerala Water Authority (Administrative, Ministerial and Last Grade) Service Rules, 2011 for a minimum period of eight years (for Section A & B AMIE holders) or at least three years service in Kerala Water Authority (for B.Tech holders as per note under method of appointment). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable.

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
