Educational Qualifications: • A Bachelors Degree in Science with Microbiology as the main subject or its equivalent obtained from a UGC recognized University/National Institutes established by the Central Government or Institution established by Government of Kerala. Experience Required: In-service personnel working in Kerala Water Authority in any of the lower categories included under GO(P) No.1/2023/WRD dated, 27.01.2023 rules or under Kerala Water Authority (Administrative, Ministerial and Last Grade) Service Rules, 2011 for a period of not less than two years. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Qualification recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to the qualification specified for the post in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission shall be sufficient.

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict.
