Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate awarded by the National Council for Vocational Training in the trade of Fitter after the completion of 2 year Course or its equivalent. Experience Required: In-service personnel working in Kerala Water Authority in any of the lower categories included under GO(P) No.1/2023/WRD dated, 27.01.2023 rules or under Kerala Water Authority (Administrative, Ministerial and Last Grade) Service Rules, 2011 for a period of not less than three years. Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)ii of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. In addition to the qualification prescribed in the notification, the qualification recognized by Executive Orders or Standing Orders of Government as equivalent to a qualification specified for a post in the Special Rules or found acceptable by the Commission in cases where acceptance of equivalent qualifications is provided for in the rules and such of those qualification which pre-suppose the acquisition of the lower qualification prescribed for the post, shall also be sufficient for the post.

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed.
