Educational Qualifications: • Pass in SSLC Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Motor Driving Licence of at least three years standing with endorsement for heavy goods and heavy passenger vehicles and Driver's Badge (The Driving Licence should be current at all stages of selection, viz, on the date of application, the last date for receipt of applications, practical test and interview). Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: (i) Ear: Hearing should be perfect. (ii) Eye: (Both the Eyes) Distant Vision - 6/6 snellen, Near Vision - 0.5 snellen, Colour Vision - Normal, Night Blindness - Nil. (iii) Muscles and joints - No Paralysis and all Joints with free movements. (iv) Nervous System : Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable for this selection. Those candidates who have claimed equivalency for qualifications should produce the Government Order proving the same at the time of certificate verification in order to consider as equivalent.

Kerala PSC gives the age limit as a range of birth dates, for example “18–36: only candidates born between 02.01.1989 and 01.01.2007 (both dates included)”. Ages are counted on 1 January of the recruitment year, so an upper age of 36 in 2025 means you must be born on or after 2 January 1989. Relaxations move that earliest date back.
With relaxations, the upper age cannot go beyond 50.

Some notifications say relaxations do not apply, and the checker then uses the range as printed. By-transfer posts, special recruitments, NCA notifications and rules for widows are flagged with “Check the notification” instead of a verdict. The qualification guide compares levels only, not subjects. Always confirm in the official notification before you apply.
